Directions
You can buy tickets for the cable car at the valley station.🚡 Once at the top, you can see the lake and are impressed by the mountains and the view. You can hike around the lake, then you reach the Hochalmbahn – or you can walk up – either way, you have to go around the mountain behind the mountain station and follow the path to the viewpoint.⛰️ After resting and many photos at the summit, you continue around the same mountain on the gravel road (Seekarstraße) to the Dikt'n Alm.🥘 After a refreshment, you can descend the same way you came, but after leaving the houses, you can either turn right to take a hiking trail or stay on the gravel road – this is a bit longer, but it also leads into the town!
