Hike to the idyllic Seewaldsee
The hike to Seewaldsee is an easy to moderate route in the Salzburger Tennengau and an experience for the whole family.
Seewaldsee is a moor lake situated at 1,100 m elevation near St. Koloman. Picturesque views of the sparkling lake open up, with the steep flanks of the Trattberg on the left and looking south you can see up to the Bischofsmütze. The path around the lake is perfect for families, mostly barrier-free and stroller-friendly.
Note: with a stroller, you cannot go all the way around the lake; only the forest path on the right half of the lake is also suitable for strollers and wheelchair users. However, this does not detract from the beauty of the hike. Those who go the full circular route walk on the left side of the lake along narrow paths, roots, and stones.

Directions
From the bus stop, you can either hike via the Angerlweg (through the Zimmereck forest, rather not stroller-friendly) or the Zimmereckstraße. Both lead into Seewaldstraße. The path goes through a beautiful rustic forest to the southern shore of the lake. Up to the other end of the lake, the hike is also well manageable with a stroller. After that, the path becomes a small trail with a short, steep climb up to the Auerhütte. From the hut, a small path leads down to the asphalt road from which you can return to the starting point.
