Spend a day with Gspensti & Spuki at Geisterberg in St. Johann. There is a lot to experience here at 1,800 m altitude: with air swings, a ghost castle, bird nests, climbing kites, ghost towers, water games, and a ghost lake, as well as an amazing mountain panorama, both young and old can enjoy an adventurous mountain experience day.
You can comfortably ascend the mountain with the cable car from St. Johann Alpendorf. The real adventure begins at 1,500 m altitude. From the cable car station, you can hike the 5 km adventure and play path up to the summit of Gernkogel, or take the ghost mountain train directly to the summit in a relaxed way. Along the path, there are over 40 play stations, always surrounded by breathtaking mountain panorama. The 200 meters of elevation to overcome also fly by for (lazy-to-walk) children. Allow at least 3-5 hours for the experience at Geisterberg to fully enjoy the adventure mountain.
