Simple high winter route suitable for beginners in the Gnadenalm area.
The Leckriedel is visited less often than the other better-known destinations in the area. It is located on the ridge between Untertauern and Zauchensee and is a simple route, which is well suited to the start of the season. First, you go through the winter forest and then over a flatter plateau with dwarf pines to the panoramic summit. The gentle dwarf pine slopes require a certain snow depth. The terrain is not suitable in poor visibility, as the summit drops steeply 150 m towards Zauchensee.

Directions
First follow the toboggan run from the Gnadenalm. Then follow the summer path to the Tauernkaralm; shortcuts over a power line clearing are possible. Now directly via the hunting hut to the summit, or for example with very high avalanche danger, a detour over the Stubhöhe to the summit. Descent as ascent.
