Lift-served ski tour from Rußbach to Hornspitz (1,433 m).
Beautiful ski tour suitable also for ambitious beginners, with a perfectly groomed descent. At the summit, a rewarding view opens up of the Gosaukamm, the Dachstein, and the Gamsfeld, the highest mountain of the Salzkammergut Mountains.

Directions
The ascent track runs well separated to the left of the slope. In the upper part, you can choose between the “Sport” variant, which stays next to the slope, and the “Genuss” variant, which runs off-piste through the forest. In the summit area, pass the “Hornspitz-Express II” and ascend flat to the summit on the right. The descent takes place on the ski slope.

The use of the ski touring route is fee-based and only possible when the Rußbach valley descent is open. No usage fee for holders of day, multi-day, and season tickets of the Dachstein West region! The day ticket is available at ticket machines or counters in Rußbach and Annaberg. No cash payment is possible at the ticket machine; debit and credit cards with NFC function are accepted. The season ticket is only available at the counters.

By public transport
By bus or train to Hallein station or Golling-Abtenau station and by bus 470 to "Russbach Hornbahn." The bus stop is located directly at the starting point.
