The history of the Seisenbergklamm gorge in Weißbach near Lofer began about 12,000 years ago at the end of the last ice age. In 1831, lumberjacks built a drift path through the 600-metre-long gorge. Nowadays you can visit the impressive natural monument on well-built footbridges in about an hour. The gorge spirit makes a trip through the Seisenberg gorge an exciting experience for young and old. At several stations, he imparts interesting facts about nature and the environment.

Take Bus 260 (Timetable) to stop Weißbach Gemeindeamt. From busstop you will have to walk for approx. 5 minutes till you reach the entrance of the Seisenbergklamm gorge. In summer, the AlmErlebnisBus can be used for the return journey from the Gasthof Lohfeyer stop.
