Fürthermoar Alm
Temporarily closedThis alpine pasture is idyllically located between the Mooserboden and Wasserfallboden reservoirs in the Kaprun valley.
The Fürthermoar Alm, at 1,807 m above sea level, is one of the most beautiful hiking destinations in the Kaprun valley. It is surrounded by ten mountain peaks over 3,000 m and sits in the middle of the Glockner region between the Mooserboden and Wasserfallboden reservoirs. Awaiting you here are products from the own alpine pasture farming and home made delicacies as well as a sun terrace, alpine pasture chapel and museum, tours to the reservoirs and much more. A special treat are the fresh alpine milk and buttermilk, both directly from cow milk and from cows fed by herbs and alpine flowers. There are herbal syrups and juices made from various plants – you are welcome to taste it! There are also for the youngest guests many opportunities to play and have fun in the children alp with wooden games equipment, petting zoo, theme and adventure trails, building a dam, experience water …
