Relax at almost 2,000 meters above sea level. The rustic mountain hut in a dreamy location offers unobstructed views of Großglockner, Wiesbachhorn, Großvenediger and many other mighty peaks in the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Cooking here is still done the old-fashioned way – traditionally on a wood stove. Treat yourself to a hearty snack, cheese dumplings (Kaspressknödel), homemade cakes, Kaiserschmarrn and much more. New from summer 2024! Every Sunday mountain breakfast from 7 am to 10 am.
The Hochsonnbergalm is a popular destination accessible via numerous hiking trails and a designated mountain bike route.
