Temporarily closedOur over 400-year-old Arbesreitalm/Mitterstegalm – with a magnificent panoramic view of the Hundstein and Hochkönig – is a popular hiking destination for locals and guests alike. About 100 years ago, Arbesreit was still a working farm; the white brickwork and the black smoked ceiling in the kitchen are still reminders of this. One of the 13 herbal mountain pastures in the Hochkönig region.
We spoil you in our sustainable, idyllic alpine paradise with alpine and farm specialities, from which we prepare many regional delicacies and specialities. A wonderful, sunny panoramic terrace, framed by beautiful flowers and elder bushes, invites you to stay. Enjoy the fantastic view of the Hundstein and the Hochkönig massif. Nestled in the herb garden is a large mountain trout aquarium to marvel at and observe.
Children will find numerous play opportunities on the alpine pasture.
