Gabühelhütte 1.620 m

Rustic alpine hut at 1600 m with its own goat farm (Waldangergut). In addition to culinary delights, an overwhelming panoramic view awaits you from our sun terrace. The beautiful view stretches from the Hochkönig to the Hohe Tauern. One of the 13 herbal mountain pastures in the Hochkönig region.

The rustic hut is located directly below the mountain station of the Gabühel gondola lift and is therefore easy to reach for everyone. Klara, the landlady, spoils you with mainly homemade delicacies. Starting with a wide variety of soup pots and ending with pastries.
In addition, oils, tinctures, salts and bathing utensils are produced on the alp, amidst wonderful herbs and flowers. We also offer fresh goat cheese – to take away or eat straight away.

Herbal enjoyment with Paula Bründl: Pink sheep – beetroot carpaccio with sheep’s cheese coated in herbs and cranberry dressing
Product in the herb box: Alpine herbal tea blend
Surprise for children: Felt ball grey-brown, animal story “Ferdinand, the wise Geis from the Gabühelhütte”
Hiking Tip: around Gabühelhütte, Steinbockalm and Grünegg Alm
