In summer, the Alpentaverne invites hikers to stop for a cosy break on its sunny terrace, and in winter, skiers are welcome to do the same.
The Alpentaverne, situated at 1,320 metres, is a popular ski hut in winter and a worthwhile stop for hikers in summer. It is easily accessible via well-marked paths: either via the shorter route from the middle station of the Panoramabahn or the Kieserlbahn, or downhill from the Kreuzkogel or the top station of the Panoramabahn. After the hike, the sunny terrace invites you to linger, relax and recharge your batteries. Right next to the Alpentaverne is the E-Trail Park, where visitors can do a few laps of the course on special e-trail bikes. The Alpentaverne thus combines a cosy stop for refreshments with active experiences in the mountains – ideal for hikers, families and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing break in the Grossarltal, come summer or winter.
Please note: The Alpentaverne and the E-Trial Park will remain closed throughout summer 2026!

Overnight stays at Alpentaverne are only available during the winter season. No accommodation is offered during the summer months.
