The Erichhütte is a popular, easily accessible excursion destination and at the same time a valuable base for mountaineers on the Hochkönig. It is the starting point for challenging mountain tours and via ferratas as well as easy high-altitude hikes and an important base for long-distance hikers on the Northern Alpine Trail.
In summer, the hut is open all year round – treat yourself to a hearty snack and other regional delicacies while enjoying the unique panorama. Meanwhile, the kids can let off steam in the playground.
