The church is a jewel and is considered one of the most beautiful Marian shrines in the Pinzgau region. Inside, a baroque rural style combined with a late gothic room structure awaits the visitor. Worth seeing are the picture of the Virgin Mary, which is said to have performed some miracles, and the late baroque high altar. The frescoes dating from 1757 are also delightful, and a visit to the chapel next to the church near the cemetery is not to be missed. There is a very interesting pietà . It was badly damaged in a fire and was decorated with gold leaf by an artist. The result is a very impressive sculpture.
