Wood made of glass for Joseph Mohr
MAGICAL FOREST WATER CIRCULAR ROUTE
Through the mountains, past the Gaisberg, the Nockstein, and the beautiful Osterhorn group, leads the relaxing journey with regional buses 150/155. In the deeply romantic village of Hintersee, it’s immediately a place to feel good. On the way to Fuchsloch, there is a completely unexpected, very modern, light-flooded chapel with 12 seats. The sacred building made of wood and glass invites you to contemplative rest and inner peace. In Hintersee, the clergyman Joseph Mohr worked for 10 years. This parish was the first one he could manage independently. The water miracle Tiefenbach and the beautiful, mystical forest enchant in their very special way. Feel free to take your leisurely round on the experience trail if you wish. The half-hour themed trail is suitable for young and old. Those who prefer something more athletic and want to exert themselves a bit more can hike directly to Hintersee. A colorful crowd of fishermen, swimmers, ball players, or sun worshippers livens the shores of the blue-green water. The combination of lake and mountains is simply wonderful!
