Hike to the wild romantic Eibensee near Fuschl
A varied path leads uphill through forest and moor to a somewhat hidden, but all the more idyllic mountain lake between Fuschl and St. Gilgen.
In terms of natural diversity, the hike is probably one of the most varied in the entire Fuschlsee region. The path leads through spruce forests, meadows, moors and moor forests, cotton grass meadows, and beech forests, offering a unique variety. The hiking experience is topped off by the crystal-clear mountain lake, which was formed after the last ice age. It’s wonderful to picnic by the lake, and children can have their hiking passes stamped.

Directions
The first part of the hike leads gently uphill over a farm road, the Eibenseeweg. Only shortly before the destination does the path turn into a narrow, rooty trail that leads to the shore of Eibensee. The return route is identical to the ascent. The path is quite easy to walk but not suitable for strollers.
