From Vollererhof in Puch via Erentrudisalm to Glasenbach

With the Tennengau Shuttle to Vollererhof and with lots of sunshine and wonderful views down into the Salzach Valley to Glasenbach.

Since the introduction of the Tennengau Shuttle, many attractive hiking destinations off the main lines have also been served in the participating communities of Adnet, Oberalm, Krispl and Puch by prior registration and availability. One of these previously difficult-to-reach starting points for public transport hikers is the new bus stop in front of the traditional spa hotel Vollererhof. The area offers a variety of beautiful circular hikes, or the route takes advantage of the great benefit of public transport hiking and leads to a completely different endpoint. Thus, the hike on the sunny side above the Salzach Valley can be conveniently extended to Glasenbach, from where there are excellent connections to the city of Salzburg or by bus 160 towards Hallein.

Directions

From the Vollererhof bus stop, the one-hour path leads towards Erentrudisalm passing the game enclosure and a farm to a gate. Two options open up: the shorter, more natural route shown on the map, turns left onto the tractor path and shortly after the vacant farm on the right crosses the meadow into the forest. The second, more wooded variant continues along the broad service road and only turns left towards Erentrudisalm (path 11) after some hairpin bends. On the clearing below Schwarzenbergalm, the routes meet again and reach the Erentrudisalm (906 m) five minutes later. Along the access road, return a few meters to the fork and then continue on path 8 (Glasenbach via Wildlehen). The sunny and scenic path meets the access road again, crosses it, and leads through the forest to the start of the Glasenbach Gorge. From here, a trail runs along the stream in 15 minutes to the stops at the Glasenbach roundabout.
