Winter fairy tale between Kleinarl and Jägersee
With each step it gets quieter: Along the Kleinarlbach through an enchanted winter landscape to the valley end at Jägersee.
There are many possibilities to get from the town of Kleinarl to Jägersee: on foot, with cross-country skis, by sled or by bus. No matter the mood, desire or ambition, every approach is appealing. The destination, the fairy-tale Jägersee (1099 m), always remains the same. The route from Kleinarl to the lake shares the path in sections with the parallel running cross-country ski trail and is therefore well prepared; the half-hour path around the lake is then only worn but also very rewarding. For warming up, the idyllic Jägersee inn in the north bay is just right, directly in front of it the bus 530 stops for the return journey to Kleinarl.

From the Kleinarl town center bus stop, the path leads downhill past the tourist office and crosses over the Kleinarlbach to the right after a few meters. The stream bed sparkling in the sun is a nice orientation aid for the next almost 5 kilometers and also a grateful photo motif. Almost imperceptibly, it goes slightly uphill until after the last hilltop the view opens to the inn and Jägersee. Turning right begins the well-trodden loop around the lake, which then leads back along the toll road. The Kleinarl Jägersee bus stop for the return trip is located at the Jägersee inn.
