The heritage museum “Arlerhof“ is located in Abtenau and shows a typical farm in Lammertal.
The first mention of farmhous took place in 1325. The museum includes more than one building: a house for living, a farm building, a granary, an apiary, a mill and a sawmill.

The saw and the mill are located near of the “Dachserbach“. This saw is equipped with a venetians gate and is still working without any problems. In July and August wood is cut every Wednesday between 01.00 and 05.00 p.m. This saw was located in the district “Fischbach“ and has been used until 1980.
In “Lammertal“ there were numerous mills that were powered by an overshot water wheel.
The mill is still working and in July and August every Wednesday flour is ground between 01.00 and 05.00 p.m.
