Langfeldhütte – Loseggalm
OUR ALMs SPECIALITIES:
At the foot of the Bischofsmütze mountain – with a view of the Gosaukamm mountain range – lies the Loseggalm-Langfeldhütte, surrounded by an authentic alpine landscape. Grazing cows and pigs, typical alpine flowers, and above all, the panoramic views give this summer alpine hut its distinctive character. The starting point for the one-hour hike is Annaberg in the Salzburg region. Numerous hiking and climbing tours in the surrounding mountains, as well as to other alpine pastures and mountain huts, are accessible directly from the Loseggalm. The 400-year-old hut is situated at an altitude of 1,460 meters and exudes an authentic and rustic alpine charm. Two cozy rooms offer space for up to 40 people. The best views of the Gosaukamm can be enjoyed from the wooden tables around the hut. A small playground is especially popular with families with children. Overnight accommodation is available in a dormitory for 10 people – with the option of a regional alpine breakfast. Please reserve overnight stays by phone. Enjoy a regional alpine or cheese platter featuring a variety of cheeses produced by the Fürstenhof organic dairy in Kuchl. The milk comes from Jersey cows that graze on the alpine pastures and in the valley. Home-smoked bacon, homemade soups, hand-made dumplings and sausages, and a selection of beverages complete the hearty alpine experience. Fresh French toast, pastries, and a schnapps round off the meal. True to the motto: It tastes best on the alpine pasture!
