Discover the diversity of the Rauris Valley at the “Facettenreich” exhibition – where nature, wildlife and history come together.

The National Park exhibition “Im Facettenreich” in Rauris takes you on a fascinating journey through one of the most diverse valleys of the Hohe Tauern National Park. It focuses on the Rauris Valley and its three side valleys – Krumltal, Seidlwinkltal and Hüttwinkltal – which together form a unique combination of landscapes, habitats and history.

The exhibition highlights the close interaction between wildlife, plant life and human activity, all shaped over millions of years. It brings to life the special features of the valley, from its geological diversity and mineral wealth to its mining heritage and the habitats of rare species. A highlight of the exhibition is the multimedia visitor film, which combines the story of the region with its natural environment in a visually striking way. It offers new perspectives on the Rauris Valley and its hidden treasures.

“Im Facettenreich” is a place where you can not only understand but truly experience the diversity of the Alpine world.
