Panorama route at Obersalzberg: Lindeweg, Hochlenzer & summer toboggan fun
Varied but barrier-free (and stroller-friendly) hike along the Carl-von-Linde-Weg to the Hochlenzer inn with panoramic views and the option for a few rounds of summer tobogganing.
This hike leads along the easy but beautiful Carl-von-Linde-Weg at Obersalzberg to the Hochlenzer inn. The path is named after the famous engineer Carl von Linde and offers – upon reaching the hiking destination – breathtaking views of the Watzmann and the Berchtesgadener Valley. The gentle ascent is stroller-friendly and thus ideal for families with small children. After about 45 minutes you reach the Hochlenzer inn, known for its excellent regional cuisine. On the sun terrace, you can enjoy the day while the children play in the nearby playground. A special highlight for children and adults is the nearby Hochlenzer summer toboggan run: on the 600-meter-long track, it goes downhill fast for only 3€ per ride (child).
We return via the upper part of the Carl-von-Linde-Weg, which also leads back to the starting point.
