When the mountain calls… up to the Salzburger Hütte – the most rustic hut at 1,879 m above sea level is located in the middle of a wonderful alpine landscape on the Kitzsteinhorn!
The Salzburger Hütte is located just below the “Langwiedboden” station of the Kaprun glacier cable cars, on the so-called Salzburger Boden and is a popular rest stop for mountaineers, hikers and families. Here at the only alpine hut on the Kitzsteinhorn, a picturesque mountain panorama awaits you with hearty dishes and probably the best Kaiserschmarrn. Here it says: Pure hut fun!
Attention children: A family of marmots lives right next to the hut 🙂
