Asitzbräu

Just a few steps from the upper station of the Leogang Cable Cars lies the AsitzBräu – a brewing museum with a mountain hut atmosphere in Leogang at 1,760 meters.

Europe’s highest brewery at 1,760 meters, just a few steps from the Leogang cable cars mountain station and right in the heart of the mountain action (both winter and summer), the AsitzBräu has emerged as a unique high-alpine beer palace. A whole range of original brewing equipment has made this “Europe’s highest brewery” a reality. Spread across three levels, freaturing a brewing hall and two sun terraces, the AsitzBräu is perfect for a quick stop or as a unique event venue (even in summer) for gatherings of up to 500 people. The menu features beer from East Tyrol’s oldest brewery and traditional dishes such as grilled sausages, pork knuckle, and oven-fresh roast pork.
